Arts Based Graffiti Abatement Community Organization
♠ Produced nine (9) aerosol art events in different places.
♥ Designed an Aerosol Art ThemePark with a major Los Angeles architectural firm.
♣ Produced live ArtStorm painting parties, made $15,000 in sales from two events.
♦ Published two big articles in the LA Times and covered on KFWB NewsRadio.
♠ Won contracts for murals with the City of Los Angeles.
♥ Wrote and deployed an arts education program for a South LA Youth Center.
♣ Received a Commendation from LAPD Chief of Police Bill Bratton.
♦ Received a Certificate of Appreciation from LA City Council President Eric Garcetti.
♠ Board member of the Arts Matters Conference of the LA Cultural Affairs Dept.
♥ Built a large database of expert Los Angeles aerosol artists.
♣ President’s Volunteer Award –-43rd United States Administration.
♦ Received the Summer Night Lights contract from LA Mayor Villaraigosa.
♠ Panelist at Loyola Marymount University’s Forum, “If Walls Could Talk: A Dialogue About Visual Art in Public Space; in compliment to the Berlin Wall Project. October 2009.
♥ Provider of Graffiti artists to the Wall Project, the largest civic commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall outside of Germany, sponsored the City of Los Angeles and the Wende Museum and Archive of the Cold War. November 2009.
LAUSD Schools – ArtStorm received a master contract with the Arts Education Branch of the LAUSD. Starting in February 2006, the below schools have contracted ArtStorm programs. ArtStorm is rated by LAUSD as ‘exceptional’, with a score of 95 of 100.
